Carola Hicks

Carola Hicks

After many years as a Dental Hygienist, and always concerned about personal health & safety in the presence of toxic, caustic and dangerous products, Carola changed professions to pursue a new career in occupational health and safety. Her personal motto has always been: “The best preparation for tomorrow is to do today’s work superbly well.” Sir William Osler. This principle translates well into the lingo of health and safety: “The best preparation for tomorrow is to do today’s work safely.” Carola, CEO of Workplace Safety Group, regularly writes health and safety articles for industry specific magazines.

Just as Carola enjoys going home to her family, children and grandchildren after a day at work, so she endeavours to help everyone go home safely at the end of the day.
